Voor de M4 MacBook Pro heeft Apple zelfs \u00e9\u00e9n extra functie helemaal niet vermeld.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">quantum dot film<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Volgens displayexpert Ross Young gebruikt Apple nu een quantum dot film in het Liquid Retina XDR-display van de MacBook Pro. Deze QD-film vervangt een KSF-fosforfilm (ook bekend als een smalband-rode fosfor) die tussen de achtergrondverlichting en het display werd geplaatst. Het resultaat is dat het display van de MacBook Pro een consistenter kleurengamma en &#8220;betere bewegingsprestaties&#8221; cre\u00ebert. Young wijst ook op de milieuvoordelen: QD-films worden vaak gebruikt op high-end tv&#8217;s en displays. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Big Apple display news, they have adopted quantum dots for the first time. Waarom heeft Apple deze verandering niet vermeld? Waarschijnlijk omdat het een soort &#8216;onder-de-motorkap&#8217;-verandering is die niet veel invloed heeft op een aankoopbeslissing. Maar het is wel een opmerkelijke verandering die laat zien hoe Apple blijft werken aan verbetering van zijn high-end apparaten zonder de kosten te verhogen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het zal interessant zijn om te zien of Apple QD-film ook gaat gebruiken voor de M4 MacBook Air, die een led-display gebruikt in plaats van het mini-led-display van de MacBook Pro. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Berichten zeggen dat de nieuwe Air in het voorjaar van 2025 zal worden onthuld en naar verwachting niet meer zal zijn dan een
